This memorial is dedicated to my daughter, Katelyn Marie Warner who was just 2 yrs old when she died
of an accidental drowning. She has 2 other brothers; Andrew-6, and Dylan-4(which is a twin to
Katelyn). Katelyn was a very bright little girl who always liked to play outside with her brothers,
cousins, and friends. Her favorite toy outside was her shovel and rake. She liked to look at
books, and her favorite tv shows were Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, Barney, and Sesame Street.
Katelyn had a nickname "Katie-bug ladybug" which she had gotten from her daycare family. We called
her Katie most often. Katie was such a wonderful little girl who of course had her moments
including many tantrums when not getting her way. But, most children are like that. I will always
miss her smiles, cute expressions, and when she would try to sing her songs: Twinkle Twinkle Little
Star, and Itsy Bitsy Spider. My heart has been broken into many pieces when God took her away from
me, but will be put back together when I see her in heaven. I love you baby girl.
In appreciation, I would like to thank all who have lit candles for my precious Katelyn and all who
will continue to light them for her.

One night I cried to Jesus as I sat beneath the trees.
I looked into the open sky and hoped He'd answer me.
I'm lost dear Lord. I've travelled far but still I seem to roam.
Please light the way and lead me, Lord. I need to get back home.
I told him of my burdens and of the sadness in my heart
That from His gracious love I'd never felt so far apart.
Why did you take my child, Lord? I cannot understand!
No longer can I touch her face or hold her tiny hand.
I'm angry, Lord. I'm missing her. I'm overcome in all my sorrow.
Please help to heal my yesterdays and face each new tomorrow.
It was then I heard her gentle voice and I felt her presence near.
How I wanted so to hold her as I cried another tear.
She said, "Mommy, "I'm an angel now, my spirit will be free.
I'm an angel now in Heaven, so please don't cry for me.
I was chosen by our Lord above and now I'm in his care.
When you need me, look inside your heart. I promise to be there.
No one can ever take away our bond with one-another
For I'll always be your precious child, as you will be my mother.
So if you cannot find your way or the road to home seems so far,
Just look up into the Heavens and I'll be your guiding star..."
THERE HAVE BEEN ANGELS IN MY LIFE
There have been angels in my life,
While they haven't arrived with a blast of trumpets,
Or a rustle of wings,
Ive known them just the same,
They performed their acts in human guise,
Sometimes borrowing the faces of family or friends,
Sometimes posing as well meaning strangers,
You have known them too,
When the right word was needed,
When a tiny act of kindness,
Made a great difference,
Or perhaps you heard a voice,
Whispering in the night,
The words not quite clear,
But the meaning unmistakable,
There is hope,

My beautiful little angel
I will always wonder why God took you so soon. All I know is that my heart will ache for you forever. I miss you more than words can say, baby girl. I lives were shattered the day you left this earth. My heart still mourns for you. I hope that you are at peace in heaven with granny, papa and grandma didd. Gosh, there are so many family members up there with you to hold you and kiss you. I'm glad you have each other. I will love and miss you until we meet again. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses your way.
